The world we live in causes us to face trials of many kinds and walk through chaotic seasons, but through all of this it is still possible to have peace.
One of the names in scripture Jesus is referred to as is the Prince of Peace, scripture tells us how to gain the peace that He offers.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psalm 34:14 KJV
To have peace we must be willing to seek it out and pursue it, because Jesus is the Prince of Peace that means we should seek Him and pursue Him.
One of the fruits of The Spirit is peace.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phillipians 4:7 KJV
We should try to not let the world and the things of the world take from us the everlasting peace that Jesus brings into our lives, the ones who love Him.
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 NIV
To have real peace from The Heavenly Father we need to be set free and that can only be achieved through the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ, He gives us this free gift of salvation if we humble ourselves and repent of our sins and call upon His holy name.
36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 NIV
