Many people may think how can that person commit that sin but I can’t, the answer is that everybody has been given free will by God and it is their choice to commit that sin and by no means is God telling them to do it, accepting it or approving it but that person of their own free will has decided to choose disobedience to God rather than submission to Him.
15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. Titus 1:15-16 NIV
God wants us to love Him rather than love the world and the things of the world. He requires that we be obedient to His holy commands as that is part of how we show that we love Him.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments John 14:15 KJV
God requires we live a lifestyle of obedience to His commands and not sin rather than commit sin, then have to repent of those sins that have been committed.
22 But Samuel replied:
“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed is better than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 NIV
Sin not only affects our relationship with The Father but can also bring along guilt and shame, but God is faithful and if someone is genuinely sorry and repentant for their sins He will forgive them.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 KJV
